Cycling through anatomical sites to avoid localized tissue reactions.
Definition
Repeated injection at the same site increases risk of lipohypertrophy, induration, and variable absorption. Abdomen, thigh, and upper buttock are commonly rotated for subcutaneous peptides. Leave at least a thumb's-width between adjacent injections.
