Confidence Interval
A range that, under repeated sampling, would contain the true parameter 95% of the time (for a 95% CI).
Definition
A 95% confidence interval gives a plausible range for the true effect. Narrow intervals indicate precise estimates; wide intervals indicate uncertainty. CIs that include zero (for differences) or 1 (for ratios) indicate non-significance.
